Cookie Policy

1. Introduction

‍

Royal Cyber Inc. and its affiliates (“Royal Cyber,” “we,” “us,” “our”) are committed to respecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA), and other regional privacy laws.

CustomerSAX is a product of Royal Cyber Inc. This Cookie and Tracking Technologies Policy explains what tracking technologies we use on customersax.com and within the CustomerSAX platform, what data they collect, why we collect it, and how you can manage your preferences.

This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

‍

2. Definitions

‍

  • Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device by websites you visit.
  • Pixels, such as the Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag, are small code snippets that allow activity to be tracked across platforms.
  • Tags and SDKs are scripts or software kits used to enable third-party integrations such as analytics or CRM.
  • Local storage keeps data in your browser rather than in a cookie file, and is used for similar purposes.
  • Session cookies expire when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies remain stored for a defined period.
  • Personal data is information that can identify you, such as your name, email address, IP address, or device identifier.
  • Service providers are external platforms that support our tracking, analytics, and hosting infrastructure.

‍

3. Where These Technologies Apply

‍

We treat the public website and the product differently:

  • customersax.com — our marketing website uses analytics, functionality, and advertising technologies, subject to your consent choices.
  • The CustomerSAX application — the authenticated product uses only strictly necessary cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in, maintain your session, remember interface preferences, and protect against fraud and abuse. We do not run advertising or retargeting technologies inside the application. [Confirm this before publishing if you run any product-analytics tooling in-app.]

‍

4. What We Collect and Why

‍

Device and technical data

IP address, browser type, operating system, screen size, and device identifier — used to optimize display, detect fraud, and maintain website security.

‍

Usage behavior

Page views, scroll depth, time on page, downloads, and exit points — used to understand the user experience and improve navigation.

‍

Campaign and advertising data

Ad clicks, impressions, and UTM parameters — used to measure campaign performance and optimize our digital marketing.

‍

CRM-linked data

Form submissions including name, email, phone, company, and job title — used to connect website activity to a lead record for follow-up and personalization.

‍

Search insights

Search queries, bounce rates, and indexed pages — used to improve organic discoverability through Google Search Console.

‍

Webinar and virtual event data

Registration details, session participation, and access logs — used to manage event access and measure audience engagement.

‍

Product session data

Authentication tokens, session identifiers, and interface preferences — used to keep you signed in and deliver the application correctly.

‍

5. Tools and Platforms We Use

‍

5.1 Analytics and tag management

  • Google Analytics 4: collects site usage data, with IP anonymization enabled, for performance optimization.
  • Google Search Console: monitors visibility, impressions, and indexing performance.
  • Google Tag Manager: deploys tags and cookies, and does not collect personal data itself.

‍

5.2 Marketing, CRM, and retargeting

  • Meta Pixel: tracks ad interactions and enables conversion-based remarketing.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag: tracks B2B audience activity and campaign engagement.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys: connects website activity to CRM records for email targeting and lead scoring.
  • [Add or remove platforms here so this list matches what actually fires on customersax.com.]

‍

5.3 Webinars and virtual events

  • [Zoom / Microsoft Teams / GoToWebinar — specify]: handles registration and attendance tracking, and may store participation logs and analytics data.

‍

5.4 Embedded content

  • Pages containing embedded video or scheduling widgets, such as YouTube or a meeting booking tool, may set third-party cookies controlled by those providers.

‍

6. Types of Cookies We Use

‍

Strictly necessary cookies

Enable core site and application functionality, navigation, authentication, and session management. These cannot be switched off.

‍

Performance cookies

Measure traffic, page speed, and user behavior through Google Analytics 4 and Search Console.

‍

Functionality cookies

Remember preferences such as language, region, and form autofill.

‍

Targeting cookies

Serve personalized advertising through Meta and LinkedIn and retarget visitors who have shown interest.

‍

Third-party cookies

Set by embedded services and platforms such as webinar providers, video players, and CRM tools.

‍

7. Your Cookie Choices

‍

On your first visit you will be asked to accept or customize your cookie settings through our consent banner. You can change your choices at any time by [reopening the banner via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer — confirm your CMP supports this].

You can also manage cookies through your browser:

We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal data where applicable law requires it.

Disabling certain cookies may limit functionality or degrade your experience. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without preventing the site or application from working.

‍

8. Data Transfers and Cross-Border Processing

‍

Some cookies involve third-party vendors operating outside your country. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on safeguards including:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses
  • The UK International Data Transfer Addendum
  • Data Processing Agreements with each provider
  • Certifications under recognized frameworks, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework

‍

9. Your Rights

‍

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete cookie-related data held about you
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Withdraw consent for analytics and advertising cookies at any time
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

To exercise these rights, email [privacy@customersax.com] or dpo@royalcyber.com.

‍

10. Security and Retention

‍

Retention periods vary by tool. Google Analytics 4 event data is retained for [14] months, and CRM and webinar platform data is retained according to the policies configured in each system. Authentication and session cookies expire at the end of the session or after [X] days.

We apply encryption, access controls, and data minimization to reduce risk.

‍

11. Updates to This Policy

‍

We may update this policy periodically to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. Revisions are posted here with a new “Last Updated” date.
